5WELL worth the moneyNov 21, 2009
I brought this over a year ago and it still works fine. Sometime (very few) it stop, I over load my computer sometimes, just unplug it and replug it and it works fine again.

5A HIT!!!!Nov 17, 2009
Fellows....for $[...] bucks?...well you are getting no less than the perfect and most versatile tablet available in the market. It's simple to use, set up and most important, it does what is expected. Out of the box, took me no more than 5 minutes to set it up and right away I started to fool around with Artrage Deluxe 2.5 and so far..so GOOD.

I mean...it even comes with a wireless mouse....a great deal. Also it doesn't feel or look cheap at all.

Yep, I'm sure there are better or high end tablets like Wacom out there, nevertheless I'm not a pro...it's a hobbie for me and $[...] bucks sounds good for a hobbie....what do you think?

Cheers.

4Good one for the price you pay.Nov 15, 2009
I bought the tablet & pen primarily to add hand sketches to documents. I also foresee the pen for the applications for my kid. This one was a good piece for the price I paid. Working area is larger & it is possible to mask the screen area to the board for working.

Works pretty well for selections & other minimum operations as a mouse. Not a replacement for a 3 button scroll mouse when using CAD applications.

Overall, I like this item.

5Stellar product for fraction of Wacom's priceNov 13, 2009
I cannot believe this was only $[...] bucks with a screen twice the size of Wacom's small tablets that sell for (nearly) twice as much.

The only draw backs -

1. the pen is battery operated.... one AAA, but if you have a battery charger it's not that much of an issue
2. I liked the finger wheel thingy that my Wacom had that made it really easy to zoom.

But seriously... it's only [...] bucks and it is amazing..... 1,024 pressure levels... I don't really see the need for the 2,048 pressure levels offered by Intuos4... I'd much rather have a larger work area. I mean, how much does Wacom charge for comparable workspace? That'd be the "medium size" Intuos4 tablet that sells for what... $[...]?

4Great tablet for the price......butNov 12, 2009
This is a price conscious tablet that gets the job done just fine. Works in Photoshop, Windows, and can be used for signing in Word, has some nifty features. Very slim and feels pretty good with hard surface rather than the old soft plastic cover types. Pen is sensitive and even though the buttons not as convenient as they could be, it works well with good tip. Does take an AAA battery that comes with.

Once the driver is installed you can plug into any USB and good to go. Nice that it is USB powered.

Caution: I have a Dell 410 XPS with 8 external USB ports. Shortly after installing the tablet I started having boot up issues with my 2 year old unit. Got worse, took it to a local repairman, they said intermittant power supply and replaced. Brought home after it checked out at repair, and still wouldn't boot. I did a little testing on my own, an low and behold the tablet was causing the failed boot up. Unplugged the tablet no problems. Plug the tablet back in and I couldn't even get to the Windows XP splash screen. Suspect the bios couldn't make sense of what it was seeing on the USB. So with some systems you may only want to plug it in when your ready to use it and not keep it plugged in if you are having any boot up issues.
