Good replacement bulb...Nov 24, 2009 Thanks to Amazon, I can still purchase a projector bulb after several years. What good would it be to buy an expensive projector and not be able to find a bulb when it burns out. Thank you Amazon!
Works for four years!Sep 26, 2009 We had our projector for over four years and I had to replace the first bulb after four years. This new bulb is now running for about two years and it's life is halfway through. We use our projector daily for 4-8 hours so I can only say that those bulbs are work horses! They run very hot but they run as long as promised! It's definitely worth the money especially when you calculate how much that actually costs you less than five bucks a month!
Mine did not last even 1/2 of rated lifeJan 13, 2009 Bulb that came with my projector popped just after it completed 1200 hrs in 1.5 years. I always used my projector in low power mode, which is supposed to give to 4000 hrs of bulb life.
Now I am looking for a new lamp and it costs $300+. Now that's a lot of money for a new lamp.

Easiest Replacement EverMay 17, 2007 Was able to replace this in a matter of minutes. Cover pops off and then you need to loosen two flat head screws. The old bulb casing slides out, this slides in and you connect one cable. We got thousands of hours of enjoyment out of our first bulb, and as soon as we put the new one in you could see the a new crispness. Off to watch 24 and Lost on the DVR, enjoy.
