I use this almost everyday at work and it takes a lot of abuse. The clip fits easily on the front pocket on my shirt and it doesnt let go . The earbuds are not great but you can find good ones for around 10 dollars that clip around your ear and fit snug. Easy to use just insert in usb port and program opens easily for you to drag and click , download, and take songs from your favorite cds. I use all day at work , battery life is long but its a good idea to charge it everyday so it can last all day. easy to use , inexpensive, easy to read screen which displays song and artist, awesome player and it has fm . A good buy.

Great product. Clip needs to be redesigned again. This is my second Sansa clip. My dog ate the first. The first clip broke too easily so I glued it back on and continued using it. The new one I just bought has a removable clip(new design)but it slips off all too often. Great product. I would buy another. Great for working out or jogging. Beats the apple shuffle by higher capability for high bps mp3 files and versatility.
Lost outside and survived torrential rainstormsNov 08, 2009
I purchased this to play backup tracks while performing.
Unfortunately I obviously dropped it 2 weeks ago in the grass one day walking from house to truck. I could not find for 2 weeks. During these two weeks we had several torrential rain storms. Today I was raking leaves with a lawn tractor pulled leaf sweeper and it obviously swept it up. I was doing final raking into a pile a there it was! Looks and plays like new.
Not sure how it survived the soaking and beating it took from the raker, but the durability is amazing!

I got this to replace an iPod Shuffle. I mainly use it in the gym and sometimes plugged into my car stereo. For the gym, the clip is not quite as strong as the iPod's, but it does the job. The UI, while minimal, is occasionally useful. The main advantage over the iPod, and the main reason I use it instead of the iPod, is that it can be treated like a file system. I can simply copy files from the computer's file system to the MP3 player's file system.

I won't repeat all of the previous reviews on this product. I'm not a techie. I'm a 63 year old grandmother who is generally computer literate. (I use a computer at work, and I have one at home.) I found it easy to get this product up and running. I received it a few days ago, so I'm sure I have much to learn about it. However, I've already got it running with my favorite songs on it. Sound quality is good. The literature that comes with it, however, is not adequate. I recommend downloading the user manual (free) from Sansa. Also, one big problem I had - the headphones. I could see on the display that the song was running, but I couldn't hear the song. Discovered that I had not pushed the headphone jack far enough into the unit. It's tight, so you must push quite hard!
