Did not fit application I was using it for. Can't fault product. Came as stated in new condition for a decent price.

5Wish it was longer for the priceOct 16, 2009
...but the price is very low! Been so tired of using a firewire for my external Samsung eSata hard drive. This thing made data transfer 10x the speed (full Sata II data rate).

5Easy way to connect a desktop Blu-ray drive to my notebook's eSATA portApr 07, 2009
My notebook came with an eSATA port but not Blu-ray, so I used this cable and a power brick from a SATA to USB kit to connect a relatively cheap desktop drive to my HP dv4z. I've also used it to connect various SATA HDs to run diagnostics. USB is adequate for optical drives but this cable keeps my notebook's two USB ports free for other things. For external HDs you really, really want SATA.

5A Great cableMar 31, 2009
This cable was exactly what I expected. Works just fine and is very durable.

4Pricey But NecessaryMar 26, 2009
If you need this hybrid, well you just need it and you have to cough up the dough. Tripp Lite is a good name in cables, etc. so it should last forever.
